Gutsche is the author of the award winning book Exploiting Chaos, in which he explains how many successful companies were founded during times of financial change and uncertainty. He urges businesses to not become complacent, regardless of how successful they might be. Staying ahead of the competition requires constant innovation, and leaders who become too comfortable run the risk of inevitable downfall.

During his technology innovation keynote Gutsche also touches on creating a cultural connection with consumers, and the success these types of messages have had for various companies.
